Description: |
Evergreen. Leaves bipinnate; rachis grooved, upto 2.5 cm long, sometimes longer; pinnae usually solitary, rarely 2-pairs, upto 5 cm long; leaflets 5-8 pairs, upto 4 cm long, obliquely-lanceolate, mucronate. Flowers sessile, bright scarlet in axillary and sub-terminal heads. Pods few, 3-5.5 cm long, thick. Seeds 5-8. |
