Description:

An arborescent shrub, climbing over large trees or walls spines, 3-4 cm long, more or less curved. Leaves ovate-obtuse or shortly acuminate, 6-9 x 5 cm. Flower terminal or axillary, seated on peduncles and more or less gathered into branched panicled inflorescence; bracts purple or rosy-purple, ovate, 2-4.5 cm long. Fruit club-shaped, 5-ribbed, glabrous or pubescent. |
