Description:

Large shrubs or woody stout climbers. Leaves broadly ovate-laneolate, 4-10 cm long, rounded, acute to acuminate at apex. Flower the bracts purplish-red, broadly ovate to oval, sub-cordate at the base, 2-4 cm long. Fruits turbinate, 5-ribbed, glabrous. |
